Fie Pedersen on nail tutorials, Instagram & Lecenté Create Gel Polish

With feeds of striking nail art designs and handy tutorials, last year saw social media success for Fie Pedersen. “I started 2019 with 3,500 followers on Instagram,” Fie states. “Now, I have over 55,000. It has been an amazing experience and has brought with it many exciting opportunities.”
Starting out in nails six years ago, Fie knew the key to being noticed would be her nail art. “I immersed myself in design work and refined my hand painting. It took a lot of practice to get to this stage, but I am proud to say I now work with a variety of different Danish nail companies as a brand ambassador.”
Keen to share her know-how, Fie often uploads easy to follow step-by-steps for some of her designs. “I break down the design into different stages,” she explains. “I hope other nail techs find them helpful for practicing their own nail designs.”
Besides the wider nail community, Fie’s nail work is also in demand with her clients. “My most popular service is sculpted enhancements. My hand-painted designs are always requested, too. Designs depend on the season with my clients. In wintertime snowflakes are popular, while the summer often sees Bohemian and floral looks. At my nail desk you’ll find Lecenté’s Create Gel Polish. “The coffin shape is really popular here in Denmark,” Fie adds. “Nude tones are always in demand, too. I think the Danish client is conservative, seeking plain simple colours. Nail art is slowly becoming more in demand; nail art here is still simple but it’s getting more popular.”
