The Nail Tech Org

With an impressive 79,000 Instagram followers, The Nail Tech Org is ‘home to nail techs building profitable and powerful businesses’. It offers accredited courses and bookable mentoring sessions, which can be purchased whether a member or not. However, the brand is most known for its members club.

Nail Tech Tribe

Scratch Stars Business Mentor of the Year 2023, Jo Tompkins, started the Nail Tech Tribe to ‘help other nail techs succeed without needing a salon or team’. The community offers strategies and mentorship to help nail techs build the confidence required to scale their businesses independently.

The community offers a free Facebook group, as well as a number of free resources on its website. Nail techs can also purchase specialist mini-courses to hone their skills in certain areas of business.

The community also offers the Nail Business Success Club – a membership which provides exclusive access to its Client Magnetisation Method – which helps members achieve financial stability. Expect access to the brands online members area which includes over 50 masterclasses, monthly question and answer calls, exclusive monthly nail art and guest expert masterclasses, community activities, as well as client scripts to handle a range of inquiries from price objections to bookings.

Clawgasmic Nail Network

Claiming to help nail techs get more client bookings, increased confidence and a ‘bigger bank balance’, Clawgasmic Nail Network is a private, members-only group for industry professionals. The network offers Nail Tech Frustration talks, tips and hacks, prep advice, tool advice, workshops and hundreds of tutorials including themed designs, time-limited nail art and over 80 different French manicure ideas.

Members also get direct access to co-founder, Chantelle Johnson, who has over 20 years of experience specialising in nail art. Chantelle co-hosts the successful Clawgasmic: Nail Tech Talks podcast alongside her husband, and the businesses’s co-founder, Jouvan Johnson.

The Nail Desk Co

Nail artist, Olivia Annice, founded The Nail Desk Co to create a space for ‘like-minded individuals’ who want to help guide and inspire other nail techs through their nail journeys, having felt there was a lack of support in the industry.

The free nail community is designed for nail techs of any experience, and offers access to the community group chat. The Nail Desk Co also offers business and mindset coaching, member giveaways, nail tech talk blogs, challenges and discount codes. Online masterclasses can also be purchased via the website, including nail art and builder gel options.

In July, the community hosted its first networking event in Manchester, where members purchased tickets for a day full of networking, games and a range of expert talks.
