CBD oil skincare branded top beauty trend for 2021

CBD oils are the skincare industry’s new preferred and star ingredient used by forward-thinking skincare chemists, and with a growing number of studies supporting their benefits, it’s easy to understand why.
Information from several clinical studies analysed by Fraîcheur Paris points out the promising CBD oil benefits for multiple skin conditions. More specifically, skincare products infused with CBD oils can help people dealing with conditions such as acne to psoriasis, eczema, redness, dullness and ageing signs, no matter their skin type.
The findings presented by the Fraîcheur Paris research team reveals that consumers’ interest in the ingredient has risen continuously from 2014, reaching a peak in 2019 and, once again, spiking at the end of 2020. Consumers from the United States, Ireland, Canada and the UK occupy front positions when it comes to CBD oil interest.
Ingrida Cerniauskaite, CEO of the luxurious ice globes wellness brand Fraîcheur Paris, estimates that in 2021, more renowned brands will experiment with skincare products that contain CBD oils. She comments, “CBD oils display exceptional anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which means they can be used in the skincare industry to treat a variety of skin disorders and even reduce ageing signs. In fact, they have something to offer to each skin type, so it’s an ingredient worth trying. This is why we project a significant adoption of CBD oils in the skincare industry in 2021.”
Specialists encourage consumers to choose brands they trust and to make sure the CBD oils used are the best. To make sure this is so, consumers should check the list of ingredients for “‘cannabidiol’ and the total cannabidiol content in milligrams. Also, CBD oil products should always come in opaque packages that don’t allow light to damage its properties.
Only by making sure the above requirements are met can consumers be sure they will reap the countless benefits CBD oils can offer.
So far, renowned skincare brands such as Kiehl’s, Saint Jane, Nooks + Crannies, and Kana have rolled out CBD oil products. In 2021, the CBD oil trend will continue to gain more terrain and establish itself as an essential skincare ingredient.
