Caring for your eyesight

Squinting to see your c-curve or struggling to see an intricate design? Looking after your eyesight while tekking is very important.
“Don’t forget your eyes – they can take so much strain,” reveals Liz Richards, national sales and education manager for Cuccio UK. “Be sure to book regular eye tests and notify the optician of your occupation and how many hours a day you work. They should adapt the test to factor in what your may eyes need.”
Ease your tekking with adequate task lighting. Whether you opt for a desk or portable lamp, ensure your selection features stable, even lighting that’s true colour matched. Consider a magnified option if you’re often working in fine detail.
If you’re working on a tricky technical element or detailed nail art design, remember to take visual breaks during the process to help prevent eye stress and strain.
