Skincare brand, BeautyLab, has returned to the set of the X Factor for another year to tend to the complexions of this year’s X Factor: Celebrity contestants.

The brand, which has partnered with the show for a number of years, delivered HDTV-worthy glows to the likes of Little Mix and One Direction, and is now working with this year’s singing hopefuls to do the same.

A spokesperson for BeautyLab comments:

“The combination of long working hours, fatigue, stress and harsh lighting creates a host of skin challenges, so the brief is to capture a universally flattering, fresh and flawless look for the closest of close ups, whatever the contestants’ dermal condition.

“The face is treated with BeautyLab’s hero product lines – spanning from resurfacing Glycolic to firming Anti-Ageing and glamourising Black Diamond – each designed for skin that is tired, breakout-prone, puffy, uneven or pigmented, and needs to be instantly HD-worthy.

“To elevate the regime’s overall effectiveness, BeautyLab’s Dual Anti-Ageing System is used to deliver the additional benefits of oxygen and microcurrent. The objective is to filter out the most unrelenting of beams, balance the skin’s tone and blur the visibility of imperfections, pores and wrinkles – so that the complexion is imbued with a multi-dimensional, A-list luminosity.

“For the ultimate bronzed top-to-toe glow, world-renowned tanning expert, Moiya Saint, custom-applies the ultra-hydrating BeautyLab’s Peptide Tanning treatments, so that the skin is able to adapt to the brightest of lights and the most perfect, seamless and believable shade is achieved.

“Each bespoke tanning treatment results in a consistently even colour, and the skin is imbued with a natural-looking, lit-from-within radiance. Lights, camera, action!”
