Behind the Brand: Meet the guru behind Gotti Nails

Nail guru Robert Nguyen has launched his own brand ‘Gotti Nails’ after working in the industry for over 16 years. After starting off as a competitor, Robert went on to become an international educator for brands such as OPI, Color Club and Entity Beauty, as well as opening two successful salons in Beverley Hills.

“I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world and play with so many products. Having worked with some of the top brands in our industry I have been able to learn so much about the business as well. It was very important for me to have no compromise to the quality of Gotti Nails, just like how it is in the salon or competition arena,” revealed Robert.

Being a small family brand, the team work extra hard on every aspect of the business in order to elevate the brand to the next level. “For me, although my brand is still in the growth stages, I never want to lose sight of where we started. It’s important for Gotti Nails to maintain that high level of excellence,” added Robert.

Over the 16 years in the industry, Robert has explored nearly every avenue in the nail world so now seemed like the perfect time to start his own brand, now that he is a dad.

“People have always told me to create my own brand. For so many years it was in the back of my mind. However it has always seemed impossible or so farfetched that I never pursued it.”

In the future, Robert is hoping to expand the range to 104 colours, as well as adding an acrylic line and nail art products. He would also like to continue to grow the brand with distributors around the world.
