Color Club Brand Founders

Owned and operated by women since 1979, Harriet Rose founded Forsythe Cosmetic Group to focus on developing products for the needs of nail pros.

Acclaimed for its innovative products, such as the Finishing Touch Nail Corrector Pen, Forsythe Cosmetic Group quickly expanded into private label services and created its Color Club brand in 2004.

Cruelty free and vegan friendly, Color Club’ signature shades are made in the brand’s New York HQ and distributed in 80 countries. Initially created for nail professionals, the lacquers are now available to the public and 50 million bottles of colour are manufactured per year, with 12 collections launched annually.

In 2013, Marlyn Roquemore joined Forsythe Cosmetic Group to rebrand Color Club with a sleek new design and marketing message. In 2015, Color Club Gel was added to the portfolio, with SerenDIPity dip powers following a year later, with all products overseen by legal counsel & regulatory advisor, Whitney Matza.

This year saw the launch of Color Club Cosmetics, which join the portfolio of nail colour and art products. Popular ranges include mood-changing gel and lacquer formulas and scented lacquer collections.

Virtually all components of Forsythe Cosmetic Group’s manufacturing are recyclable, from bottles and brushes to product and packaging, shipping and packing materials and production waste.

As for the company ethos, its team comments: “As a pioneer in the nail industry, we continuously strive to promote a message of advancement and empowerment for women everywhere.”
