BEHIND THE BRAND: Meet the beauty duo behind Goddess Emporium lash & nail products

Launched in 2014 by Katiie Norman, the Goddess Emporium brand began its beauty journey with a portfolio of Goddess Pro Lash Products. After meeting nail tech, Rachel Lloyd, after Rachel visited Katiie for lash services, the duo struck up a friendship and decided to expand the Goddess Emporium range to offer nail products under the Goddess By Rachel line.
Together, Katiie and Rachel have over 20 years’ experience in the beauty industry and both have a background in sales and marketing. “We wanted a nail line that was suitable for complete beginners and advanced nail technicians,” Rachel reveals. “Beginners kits are available, as are training courses, and we have provided bespoke kits for other trainers and academies.”
Goddess Emporium training is accredited with the Beauty Guild; the UK trade body for the professional beauty industry – Katiie offers full lash training and Rachel offers gel polish, efile and acrylic courses for complete beginners and refresher/skill building courses for qualified techs.
Lockdown worked to the duo’s advantage – as they couldn’t open for customers, they used the time to focus on creating their brand, and they couldn’t be prouder. “I love our products and I use them on every client. Its incredible when I hear such amazing feedback from other techs that I admire in the industry about our brand,” comments Rachel.
If you ask the business-savvy brand owners to choose their favourite product, you won’t get one answer, but several! “Katiie is obsessed with all the glitter powders and of course the neon orange powder which is named after her,” Rachel smiles. “I love the size 16 brush, monomer, Goddess core powder and top coat too – there’s no way we could pick only one product!”
Katiie and Rachel want their products to suit the setups of all nail techs; whether the products are on display in a high end salon or in a mobile nail tech’s beauty case. “Modern goddesses can be whoever they want to be!” Rachel laughs.
