A bohemian nail style rhapsody with Cat Wong

My favourite pastime is to browse nail designs and nailists on Instagram and Facebook, whenever I can. I do this in the hope of being arrested by art so strong, powerful, colourful and original that it will bring sparkles to my eyes. I’m pleased to inform, I get sparkles on a daily basis from the nail industry! However, today the sparkles dazzled like a superhero from a Marvel story! I was literally beaming at the latest inspiration and nail work from Cat Wong AKA The Nail Queen, who is a leading artist, champion tech, international judge and top class nail educator, based in Singapore.
Cat has taken the styling of pottery, tiles and fabrics to create a series of Bohemian nail styles that are arresting to behold.
In her own words, Cat notes, “Colour is a power, which directly influences your soul! Create colourful-inspired design for your nails and feel uplifted.”
And, it gets better! Cat has created an online course for six of her Boho nail designs, which are now up and ready to download with the Beauty2Trs online training academy. Tracey Lee, its host and the brains behind this exceptional online academy (which houses a wealth of amazing educators from across the globe), cites, “Cat Wong takes the student through six step-by-step Boho-inspired nail designs right from the original sketching to the finished nail. The class is suitable for beginners and practical salon work and covers; planning the design, sketching it, application onto the nails, detailing, finishing and a bonus class too.”
