1.Tell us about your training…

I went to college in 2013 to study Beauty Therapy. During the manicure and pedicure sections, I found my love for nails. Once finishing that course, I knew that I needed to do nails; being able to be so creative on such ittle tiny canvas was an amazing concept to me! I then went on to complete my Nail Technology course and knew I’d found the perfect career for me. I started playing around with different brands, I bought four bottles of Halo Gel Polish and absolutely fell in love. I completed a conversion courses for the Halo Products and completely switched over.

2. What is your all-time favourite nail product?

Halo’s EasiBuild system. It’s so versatile, easy to work with and the colours are amazing!

My biggest idol is Tina Bell her creativity and work ethic really inspire me daily. I also really love @ambies_nails_n_nugs – her nail art is amazing.

I love to create nail design that are edgy or cute! Polar opposites of each other I know, but I really love creating that style of nail art.

Halo Gel Polish in Blood Red: a little dark but still very fun!

6. What are your next steps?

Extreme shapes! I can’t wait to get creative with shapes.

7. Where do you get your inspiration from?

I research trending patterns or accessories – anything that I can translate on a nail!  I practice the best method to accomplish recreating the look on a nail. Most of my clients are very easy going and love nail art, so I get to do this almost every day!

8. What is the most exciting thing about the UK nail industry?

The most exciting thing about our industry is the opportunities! It’s amazing what you can achieve by just applying yourself.

9. If you weren’t doing nails, what would you be doing?

I’d definitely be doing something ‘arty’. In school I always wanted a career in art as I love being able to express how I’m feeling through different mediums.
