Educator Love Series

Scratch chats with award-winning educator, Hannah Garbett of Staffordshire Nail Academy, about why she loves being a nail educator…

1.Colleagues

Working with so many talented and passionate individuals.

2.Rewarding

The look of the ‘eureka’ moment and pride on a student’s face when they finally nail a certain element they have been working so hard on.

3.Progression

Watching students succeed and grow their business. I’m working with some nail techs that I taught from the beginning of their nail career and now I’m teaching them to teach. It’s so amazing to see how hard they have worked and how far they have progressed.

4.Up-skilling

I love the fact that I have to keep up to date. I have pride in continuing to up-skill and staying current in the industry to be able to offer the best training I can.

5.Relationships

The relationships that I get to make, not only with students but other educators and brands in the industry. There is such a wealth of knowledge out there and to have access to it is immense.
