Phorest Salon Owners Summit

Global salon software company, Phorest, is inviting salon owners and managers from all over the world to its annual Salon Owners Summit at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, Ireland.

The two-day event serves to inspire, educate and support business growth. Attendees can expect a diverse and international line-up of speakers to help them take their salon to the next level. Topics will range from customer experience to staff development to the latest technology innovations. The speakers will also delve into the latest challenges and opportunities facing salon owners today.

A keynote speaker is Peigin Crowley, founder of GROUND Wellbeing. With over 27 years’ experience in the spa industry, Peigín is a wellness curator who designs award-winning spa experiences with a focus on wellbeing. Steering away from traditional spa menus, she focuses on addressing anxiety, insomnia and burnout, with a mission to address our innerworld, emphasising how we feel, and striving to achieve longevity through purposeful self-care and education.

There will also be panel discussion, Breaking Barriers: Black Beauty and Redefining Excellence. Hosted by Alex Bélisle-Springer, global education content lead at Phorest, the panel will explore challenges faced by Black hair and beauty professionals, entrepreneurs and consumers, including funding disparities and underrepresentation. Panelists include Winnie Awa, founder/CEO of Carra; Keya Neal, founder of Kolour Kulture & Texture VS Race, colour educator & DEI consultant; Tendai Moyo, founder/CEO of Ruka Hair, and Dija Ayodele, founder of West Room Aesthetics & Black Skin Directory.
